And no one can access my internal network. My printers aren't shared to the internet, neither are any of my print spoolers. I am getting VERY tired with Micro$oft breaking things, creating fires for me at work. Just like their previous most recent printer breaking update. In other words, if you physically connect printers VIA USB or Serial to a PC or server, then that PC or server shares the printer on the network, THAT is the PC or server that KB5005565 needs to be uninstalled from. Yes, you only need to uninstall this update from the computers on the network that are responsible for sharing the printer to the network. Then you need to HIDE the update so it doesn't automatically install again. Created an account JUST to post, confirming that uninstalling KB5005565 worked perfectly. It took me a couple of hours to work all this out but I have since applied it to three other clients. Not until I uninstalled KB5005565 did the problem go away and I was able to reconnect to printers I had deleted. I got a generic "that didn't work" error. I tried deleting printers the computers were connected to via a share and I could not reinstall them. Reinstalling or updating the driver generally does not work. Its only the computers on the network trying to use the share which have the problem.
